Candidates happy that their loyalty is being rewarded
As reported by
Members of the Professional Contractors Group, IT Contractors want greater flexibility from fee structures in on-going assignments.  Sans Souci's innovative ENCORE scheme provides this flexibility and allows a percentage of Sans Souci's (Employment Business) fees to be transferred to them when contracts are renewed.

Sans Souci Managing Director, Andrew Donachie commented, "Having been an IT Contractor myself and having had my contracts extended on a regular basis I can appreciate why IT Contractors feel they should see benefit from their contract renewals.  It is the excellent work of the IT Contractor, often coupled with negotiations from the Employment Agency that allows this to happen so it really is a joint effort.  I believe the on-going success of our Contracts Division rests with us keeping freelance IT (and Limited Company) Contractors in regular work over and over again.  I want them to appreciate our transparency and always come to Sans Souci to negotiate their next contract even where their assignment ends and this involves a change of Client."

Donachie continues, "our ENCORE scheme is designed looking at the long term benefits of working with the same Candidates over and over and building up and maintaining a relationship lasting the length of their career as an IT Contractor."

The ENCORE scheme works by providing the IT Contractor with a bigger slice of the Sans Souci (Employment Business) day rate each time their contract is renewed.  For example, an IT Contractor working on their first assignment would obtain the day rate agreed, on their second engagement would obtain the day rate agreed plus a percentage of our fee.  The percentage would continue to be increased as contracts are extended.

New recruitment pricing proposition welcomed
The Recruitment side of Sans Souci continues to show decent progress despite the gloomy outlook in employment figures predicted for 2009.  Sans Souci are constantly adapting to the market and have come up with an alternative fixed price fee model for their clients to consider alongside the traditional percentage fee model.

Vince Connolly, Recruitment Executive comments, "As part of our commitment to identifying what our customers are looking for we carry out regular Client and Competitor analysis so that we can continue to come up with new and improved recruitment ideas.  It is important that Clients feel that they are being listened to as well as getting good value for money from the service we provide.  I believe the fixed fee (salary band) structure that we have come up with is a very competitive model and it affords Clients the opportunity to offer the Candidate a better package up-front, without the worry on how this affects the agency/business introductory fee."

New pension consultancy deal
Sans Souci win bid to provide niche Pension audit consultancy services to a major UK Pension Provider.  The assignment will see Pension experts from Sans Souci perform on-site auditing of client pension files to ensure all transactions made are within the HMRC legislative and client product guidelines.

Managing Director, Andrew Donachie believes this further emphasises the level of quality and specialist knowledge offered by Sans Souci Consultants and he remains positive about the outlook for the company during 2009.

"We continue to attract work from a variety of Clients, requesting a diverse range of consultancy work from us.  I believe we have the flexibility and know-how to achieve the aggressive growth plans we have set ourselves for the consultancy side of the business even in the current economic climate."

Print cost management partner
Sans Souci are delighted to welcome Greig Ross Associates to our panel of strategic partners.  Ian Ross, Managing Director of GRA met with Sans Souci during Q4 of 2008 to agree a deal which will see the two companies work together on client Print Cost Management initiatives.

Organisations are increasingly focused on cost reduction and their environmental impact, their "carbon footprint".  Environmental regulation is steadily increasing and it is important for businesses to not only set targets but demonstrate their "green credentials" to government, other businesses and their employees.

Using the top of the range Print Audit 5 software, for analysis, reduction and recovery, the print cost initiative can provide the following services:

·    Printing review: revealing the current situation;
·    On-going print monitoring & reduction: automation;
·    Print reduction campaigns: cultural changes;
·    Facility management service waste: Externally managed disposal of print and consumables;
·    EDRM guidance: electronic document record management;
·    Large scale print fulfilment: direct mail etc.

The software is easily rolled out to all printers which are networked or locally connected in an organisation.  The process is simple but the results are dramatic.  www.grassociates.co.uk
